Woods Furniture is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our brand-new showroom opening at Castlepoint Shopping Park, Bournemouth in Spring 2026.
This is a rare opportunity to join Woods Furniture as part of the team for a brand-new store, helping to build and develop a successful showroom from day one.
We are looking for a commercially minded sales leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, coaching their team, delighting customers and driving results.

As part of our continued growth, we are excited to be opening a new showroom at Castlepoint Shopping Park in Bournemouth, and we are looking for a talented Showroom Manager to lead this exciting new location.
The Role
As Showroom Manager, you will play a key role in the successful launch and ongoing performance of our new showroom.
You will be responsible for building, leading and motivating your team while delivering exceptional showroom standards and customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating your team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer experiences
- Supporting the recruitment and development of the new showroom team
- Managing rotas, holidays and resource planning
- Conducting performance reviews and coaching team members to develop their potential
- Working closely with the Head of Sales to ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Maintaining exceptional showroom presentation and product displays
- Actively managing the sales floor, engaging with customers and supporting the team
- Ensuring high standards for customer service and showroom standards
- Overseeing showroom housekeeping and operational standards
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will spend significant time on the shop floor guiding your team and supporting customers.
We’re looking for someone who has
- Proven experience in Retail Management or Sales Management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent coaching and people development skills
- Strong commercial awareness — understanding sales performance, KPIs and customer retention
- Energy, resilience and a willingness to go the extra mile for customers and your team
