Painter and Decorator – 2 Month Project – Ilford
Stanley Painting Contractors are looking for a skilled and reliable painter and decorator for an upcoming commercial project in Ilford.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparation, finishing and maintaining a clean, professional standard on site.
This is expected to be around a 2-month project, with the potential for ongoing work afterwards for the right person.
The right person should be able to:
- Carry out preparation and finishing works to a high standard
- Work confidently both independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a tidy and professional working area
- Conduct themselves properly in a commercial environment
- Be reliable, punctual and consistent week in, week out
- Follow site instructions and communicate clearly
Essential requirements:
- Own tools and transport
- CIS registered
- Good standard of preparation and finish
- Able to provide examples of previous work or relevant experience
- Comfortable working on commercial projects
Desirable but not essential:
- CSCS card
- Spray experience
- Wallpapering or specialist finish experience
- Intumescent coating experience
- IPAF, PASMA or other relevant training
- DBS check for future school projects
