The Installations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and execution of installation projects throughout the UK. We are looking for an individual who can be both proactive and reactive, really make a difference by providing a first-class service to coordinate our Installation partners. The role involves the booking of subcontract field service teams for installation of a variety of products, ranging from blue chip automotive dealership furniture to high street signage.
The primary purpose of this key role is ensuring that all installations are completed on time and within budget to our customer specifications. You will be the primary point of contact between installers and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule & coordinate installation projects from start to finish.
- Assign and dispatch installation teams based on project need and technician availability.
- Working with our project teams to advise on the relevant site access and plant equipment for the installation.
- Monitor progress and address any scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of installation schedules.
- Address any onsite issues or challenges promptly and efficiently. Escalate any issues in a timely manner when necessary.
- Liaising with 3rd party engineering teams to co-ordinate bookings.
- Handling queries from other departments and acting as a first point of call for incoming & external calls.
- Maintain up-to-date records of competence for all subcontract crews.
- To provide administration resource around installation planning to ensure full transparency and traceability.
Knowledge, skills & attribute
- Previous experience of supporting Installation teams in any industry.
- The ability to develop excellent relationships with both internal and external teams.
- Be proactive, but also possess the ability to react quickly and efficiently to change.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills, must posses the ability to prioritise and manage own workload with conflicting and changing deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to support others adapting to change.
- Happy to work independently using own initiate and as a valued member of our fantastic team.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with a professional telephone manner.
