Design football product built for quality, durability and the real game.
At Mitre, product has to do more than look good. It has to perform wherever football is played, from grassroots pitches and training grounds to match days, cages, clubs and competitive leagues. Every detail matters when the product is part of the game.
You’ll be part of the Mitre Product & Design team, where creativity, football culture and technical product expertise come together to take ideas from first concept through to finished product.
What you’ll be doing:
Own the creative design journey for Mitre footballs, from initial concept through to final production.
Create flat artwork and graphic concepts using Adobe Illustrator, working with panel formations and seasonal direction.
Produce high-quality 3D renders using KeyShot, Blender or equivalent software.
Build production-ready artwork and technical packs for manufacturing partners.
Develop mood boards, seasonal creative direction, colour palettes and colourways.
Create compelling visual stories behind each product, drawing on football, competition and culture.
Work closely with factories and vendors throughout product development, sampling and production.
Make artwork amendments and solve technical design challenges during the development process.
Contribute to product design across the wider Mitre range, including football accessories and selected apparel projects.
Manage the end-to-end design workflow, ensuring creative intent is maintained from first sketch through to final sign-off.
What you’ll bring:
Strong experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Experience using 3D design and rendering software such as KeyShot, Blender or equivalent.
Practical experience of UV mapping.
Strong technical design capability, with experience taking concepts through to production-ready artwork.
Experience working directly with factories or manufacturing partners through sampling and product development.
A strong eye for colour, trends, seasonal direction and product storytelling.
Genuine knowledge of and passion for football and football culture.
Experience designing physical products, sports equipment, accessories or similarly technical products would be highly relevant.
Why Mitre?

From first kicks to Sunday League, training sessions, cup competitions and the road to Wembley, Mitre is there for real football people.
Joining Mitre means becoming part of a team that cares deeply about the game and the products that support it: how they perform, how they last, how they feel in play, and how they help bring people together through football.
