Job Title: Site Operator
Role Overview
As a Site Operator, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimising specialist equipment at customer sites across the UK. The role involves hands-on technical work, ensuring equipment runs efficiently, safely, and in line with company and site standards.
You will also provide dedicated operational support to the Worcester site on a rota basis, including on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialist equipment and associated systems (ancillaries) at various customer locations
- Monitor and optimise system performance (full training provided)
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability
- Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all operational procedures, safety standards, and site-specific PPE requirements
- Comply with instructions from your line manager and senior management
- Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs
Site-Specific Responsibilities (Worcester)
- Provide primary operational cover for the Worcester site
- Work on a scheduled rota, typically covering every second weekend
- Be on-call during weekends and bank holidays when the second Worcester technician is not available
- Respond to operational issues and ensure continuity of service at the Worcester site
Reporting Line
- Report directly to the Operations Manager (line manager)
- Work closely with internal teams and customer site personnel
Work Environment & Travel
- Primarily based at customer site at Worcester
- Occasional travel to the company workshop/offices at Stoke-on-trent
- Regular travel required, including possible international travel
- Use of tools, laptop, and mobile phone
Working Hours
- Standard: 38 hours per week
- Flexibility required depending on workload and operational demands
- Additional availability required for scheduled weekend work and on-call duties

Performance & Development
- 3-month probation period with reviews at 2 and 3 months

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
