Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people living in our home.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, their families, and professionals involved in their life
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.
- Support children with personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Assist children in accessing education, health services, community activities, and positive experiences.
- Celebrate diversity and achievements
- Promote emotional wellbeing and life skills development
- Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records, daily logs, and incident reports.
- Work collaboratively with social workers, healthcare professionals, schools, and other agencies.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision sessions.

Requirements
- A genuine passion and motivation for supporting children and young people.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work within safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK.
- Commitment to on-going training and professional development
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
- Experience working within children’s residential care (desirable)
