Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dryliner to join our dynamic construction team in Wimbledon. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing interior drywall and related materials to create smooth, durable surfaces in commercial and residential buildings. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety standards and client expectations. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels using hand tools and power tools with precision and efficiency
- Apply joint compound, tape, and finishing techniques to achieve seamless surfaces ready for painting or further finishing
- Interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute installation plans
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Assist with fabrication and custom modifications of drywall components as needed for specialized projects
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment
Experience
- Proven experience as a dryliner or drywall installer in construction settings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, trowels) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) for efficient installation and finishing
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and working at heights
Pay: £25.00 per hour
