HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver
Excellent opportunity for skilled Class 1 & 2 Drivers to join a well-established team based out of our Morden Depot.
The right candidate must be committed to attend full-time, flexible and willing to work to complete. Please note: The work is task-oriented and not solely limited to driving.

Our Merton Depot offers 2 shift start times, although the majority of the work is completed early morning and Refuse Collections tend to deploy service 6AM Monday to Friday.
Shift Times Available:
Set Shifts - Monday to Friday
· Deployment at 06:00AM
· Deployment from 14:00PM
· Paid 40 hours per week
· Job and Knock (task and finish)
· Overtime paid at enhanced rates
More about the Job
· Operate a lorry in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
· Teamed up in a crew made up of 1 Driver, plus 2 Loaders/Banksman, complete your route and tip the lorry at the end of your round.
· Maintain accurate records of the task and route
· Ensure that the lorry is always kept clean and well-maintained.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.
Qualifications
· Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) C or CE licence, valid in date Tacho and CPC.
· Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, although newly qualified drivers are considered
· Good knowledge of the local area is an advantage
· Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
· Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
Job Type: Full-time,
Rate: Basic £17.72ph
Hours per shift: Min 8 hours, up to 40 hours per week.
