About KidCityLdn KidCityLdn is a premium childcare service placing experienced professionals with visiting and resident families in London. All staff are directly employed by KCL on a PAYE contract with holiday pay, and are accompanied and supported by a dedicated Bookings Manager from Day One.
What the Role Involves Supporting a Chelsea family with two children - aged 8 months and ! year - for four weeks from 17th July. Days run six hours, with an early start around 9–10am. Responsibilities centre on feeding, nappy changes, getting the children ready, and maintaining a steady routine across the day. The mother is new to managing two young children close in age and needs a Mother's Help who steps in proactively, rather than waiting to be directed. No travel is required for this placement.
What We Need
- Minimum 3 years' professional maternity and infant experience (non-negotiable for this role)
- Confident, hands-on approach to newborn and toddler care, including feeding routines and settling
- Calm, reassuring manner - able to support a mother who is feeling stretched, without adding to the pressure
- Enhanced DBS (issued or updated within the last 12 months)
- Current paediatric first aid certificate
- Valid proof of identity and right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 years' professional childcare experience overall
What We Offer
- £20.00/hr, £31,200 gross per annum (pro-rata) on a PAYE contract with holiday pay
