Marketing, Content & Social Media Coordinator (Summer Project)

Are you studying marketing, media, photography, videography or digital content creation, and looking for an opportunity to gain real commercial experience over the summer?
Horsham Developments is an established independent automotive performance specialist based near Newbury. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to support our marketing and social media activity as part of an exciting summer project.
Working directly with the business owner and workshop team, you’ll help capture and share the interesting work happening every day, creating engaging content around performance and prestige vehicles, specialist engineering projects and life inside a busy independent workshop.
What you’ll be doing
Working from an established marketing direction, you’ll help coordinate and deliver day-to-day marketing activity, including:
- Coordinating the marketing and social media calendar
- Photographing and filming vehicles and workshop projects
- Editing photos and videos for social media and YouTube
- Writing captions and preparing content for publication
- Scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
- Supporting marketing for products, services and mail-order activities
- General marketing and content administration
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is studying (or has recently completed) marketing, media, photography, videography, digital content creation or a related subject.
- Has a genuine interest in performance, prestige or specialist automotive engineering.
- Enjoys photography, videography and creating engaging digital content.
- Has experience editing photos and video (through university, work or personal projects).
- Is organised, reliable and happy managing a variety of tasks.
- Is confident communicating with people and translating technical conversations into content that customers will enjoy.
- Is aged 18 or over, as the role involves working within an active automotive workshop.
The role
- Paid, part-time summer project.
- Approximately 8–24 hours per week, typically spread across several days.
- Based near Chieveley (RG20).
- The role combines time spent on-site capturing content and meeting with the business owner, with the flexibility to complete editing, scheduling and administration from home.
- Due to the rural location, applicants will need their own transport as there is no practical public transport to the workshop.
