Duties & Responsibilities
Working closely with colleagues to realise the vision and passion of TCPR in supporting its service users:
· Enquiries management:
- Managing admin@ inbox, disseminating tasks and following up on these
- Acknowledging vouchers and forwarding them to the correct food bank session location in a timely fashion
- Replying to email and telephone enquiries from clients/referral agents; advising of the process for obtaining food vouchers or accessing the Community Health and Wellbeing Workers
- Signposting clients and referral agents to other organisations offering support for those experiencing food poverty and financial hardship.
· HR admin:
- Supporting with the recruitment and induction of charity volunteers (including keeping the volunteer handbook up-to-date.)
- Updating the Single Central Register + associated activities including DBS checks, safeguarding certificates, ID badge allocations
- Updating the volunteer rota
· Project implementation and reporting
- Scoping and coordinating projects which enhance the efficient running of the charity
- Supporting the implementation of grant funded activities within the charity
- Organising quotes for project/campaign related activities
General administrative duties - any other duties consistent with the nature and purpose of the role for example:
- IT & Data - maximise use of software packages to ensure the smooth running of the office and team communication
- Asset Register - maintenance of asset register including make, serial number, location, funding source, disposal conditions.
- Charity Contracts - managing the charity’s phone and wifi contracts etc.
- Ensuring the office is welcoming, friendly and runs smoothly.

- Uphold the charity's ethos of working for and with our service users to promote and uphold excellent standards of customer and staff service
- Support and work with all members of staff, whether permanent or temporary to fulfil their role to the best of everyone’s ability
- Attend staff meetings as required and contribute to the running and ethos of the charity as a whole
- Work in a manner which ensures the safety of all others working within the vicinity of this role.
Undertake any additional duties as may be required in line with the level of responsibility of this role.
