Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload merchandise from the van at each stop
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions and navigate using GPS or maps
- Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to [weight limit]) when loading and unloading merchandise
- Commercial driving experience is preferred, but not required
