Part-Time Supervisor – Big Sky Soft Play

Big Sky Soft Play is one of Peterborough's largest indoor family entertainment centres, offering exciting play facilities, a busy café, children's parties, laser parties, private hires and exclusive adult-only evening events.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, confident and hands-on Part-Time Supervisor to support our Operations Manager in leading our fantastic team and ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From supervising busy weekend sessions to running adult-only events, supporting the kitchen, maintaining high cleaning standards and leading staff, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the centre.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising and motivating the team throughout your shift.
- Acting as a key holder, opening and closing the centre.
- Supporting the Operations Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries professionally.
- Leading our licensed bar during adult-only evening events (applicants must therefore be aged 18+).
- Supporting and running a busy kitchen when required.
- Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
- Leading scheduled deep cleaning of play equipment and customer areas.
- Managing stock levels and assisting with stock ordering.
- Supporting the promotion and delivery of parties, events and seasonal activities.
- Creating a positive, motivated and professional working environment.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- A minimum of 18 years old.
- Has at least 2 years' experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or above.
- Confident leading a team in a busy customer-facing environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable being on their feet for long periods.
- Calm under pressure and able to make decisions quickly.
- Organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Flexible and available to work weekends, evenings and school holidays.
- Willing to complete a Food Hygiene qualification if not already qualified.
Previous experience within hospitality, leisure, retail, cafés, restaurants, family entertainment or visitor attractions would be highly advantageous.
