Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding guest services by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our culinary standards.
- Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and help in the organisation of the kitchen environment.
- Engage with guests to promote menu items and upsell specials effectively.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, applying basic maths skills for payments and change.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive dining experience for all patrons.
- Help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchens, and restrooms.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when required.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating flexibility in various roles within the restaurant.
