We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Joiner / Factory Operative to join our busy kitchen cabinet manufacturing team.
This is a varied role where you will primarily assist our CNC Operator with the cutting and manufacture of high-quality kitchen cabinets. The role also includes receiving deliveries from suppliers, stock checking, delivering cabinets to customers, and assisting with general factory duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the CNC Operator with cabinet cutting and production.
- Manufacturing and assembling kitchen cabinets.
- Receiving deliveries from suppliers and checking stock against delivery notes.
- Organising and storing stock within the factory.
- Preparing customer orders for delivery.
- Delivering cabinets to customers and sites.
- Loading and unloading materials and finished products.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.
Requirements
- Previous joinery, woodworking or factory experience is preferred.
- A practical approach with good attention to detail.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
