Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards at all times
- Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and notifying management of low stock or expired items
- Support in packaging orders neatly and promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow proper time management practices to ensure smooth deli operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation is preferred but not required; a passion for food and customer service is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling perishable items
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation
Candidate must be fully flexible and love a challenge. Hours vary between 6am-5pm Monday-Sunday.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
