We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children
- Create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records to support their developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to ensure cohesive care and education plans
- Supervise daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, playtime, and learning sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Support the training and mentoring of junior staff or apprentices to foster a collaborative team environment
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and childcare standards at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated management or leadership abilities within a childcare environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification (such as Level 3 Early Years Educator) preferred
