Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by following proper handling and sanitation procedures
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and give correct change
- Restock supplies regularly to keep the station well-equipped for busy periods
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, such as assembling snacks or light bites
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times
- Experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment helps you excel quickly
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently and accurately
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a lively setting
