Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Trade Counter Sales / Deliveries professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our company, engaging with customers at the trade counter, assisting with product inquiries, and managing delivery logistics. Your enthusiasm and organisational skills will drive customer satisfaction and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly at the trade counter and provide expert advice on our products
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment, accessories, or parts based on their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately
- Manage inventory levels on the shop floor through effective merchandising and organization
- Prepare and coordinate timely deliveries, ensuring products reach customers safely and on schedule
- Communicate clearly with customers via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize customer value while maintaining a positive experience
- General deliveries in and around the Hull area
Experience
- Strong merchandising and organizational skills to keep the trade counter tidy and well-stocked
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers confidently and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
