Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant team while honing your culinary and customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system
- Serve food and drinks promptly whilst maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and courteous service
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Handle guest enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions
- Experience in guest services and upselling techniques is desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
