As our Business Applications Lead, you'll take ownership of our core business applications, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and continually evolving to meet the needs of the business. You'll lead the support, administration, and ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365, while driving improvements through the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, project teams and third-party partners, you'll champion the effective use of technology, identify opportunities to improve business processes, and help shape the future roadmap for our business applications.

In this role, you'll:
- Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
- Lead the day-to-day support, administration and maintenance of business applications, ensuring a high level of service for users.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve application issues, working with third-party vendors where required.
- Plan, configure, test and coordinate system updates, enhancements and new functionality aligned with business priorities.
- Lead the ongoing enhancement of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate, to improve business processes and deliver valuable insights.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Manage and prioritise application enhancement requests, contributing to the development of the business applications roadmap.
- Promote best practice, provide user guidance and training, and encourage the adoption of new features and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and greater operational efficiency across the organisation.
- Build effective relationships with business users, project teams and technology partners to ensure applications continue to meet organisational needs.
What we're looking for
You'll have hands-on experience supporting and developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ideally across multiple functional areas beyond Finance, and be confident administering Microsoft 365 applications.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
- Practical experience developing or enhancing Power Apps and Power BI solutions, with exposure to Power Automate.
- A good understanding of business processes within finance, operations, supply chain or similar business functions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple initiatives and take ownership of business-critical applications.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with other Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, such as Field Service.
- Knowledge of SQL, reporting or data querying tools.
- Experience working within ITIL-based service management environments.
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, professional services or other multi-site organisations.
- Microsoft certifications relating to Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 or the Power Platform.
