Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Tanning Salon Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting clients with their tanning needs, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in customer within a vibrant salon setting. Previous experience in customer service is required. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are enthusiastic about helping clients look and feel their best.
We are looking for someone to work evening shifts and weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). 12-20 hours a week.
(Sunday shifts are minimum twice a month, whilst Saturdays are compulsory every week)
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable during their visit.
- Assist clients with selecting suitable tanning creams and explain the procedures clearly.
- Cleaning - maintain cleanliness of the tanning booths and salon area to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Manage walk-in enquiries efficiently
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any maintenance issues promptly
Essential Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Basic knowledge of sunbeds is desirable but not essential.
- Organised, reliable, with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Previous experience in customer service.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
