As part of our commitment to delivering solutions quickly and efficiently, we are looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator for General Admin duties and to support our Logistics and Certification team.
About Us:
We are a leading valve distribution company, sourcing and supplying valves from Europe, China, and the UK to customers across these regions.
Main Duties
General Office Administration
· Greeting visitors at Reception with a friendly demeanour
· Filing, scanning and Archiving company documents.
· Shredding confidential paperwork
· Ordering and maintaining office stationery and consumable supplies.
· Managing incoming and outgoing post.
· Assisting with document preparation and data entry.
· Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks across departments when required.
· Helping to maintain a tidy, efficient and professional office environment.
· General office upkeep
Logistics & Shipping Support
· Assist with the booking and coordination of UK and international shipments.
· Support the preparation of shipping documents, packing lists and commercial invoices.
· Liaise with couriers, freight providers and suppliers to coordinate collections and deliveries.
· Monitor shipment progress and provide updates to colleagues when required.
· Help maintain accurate shipment records within company systems.
· Assist with resolving delivery and courier queries.
Certification Support
· Prepare and send certification for customers.
· Manage and organize supplier certification
· Ensure certificates and supporting documents are correctly filed and easily retrievable.
· Verify documentation is accurate before being issued to customers.
Skills & Experience
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Confident using Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Ability to work methodically and accurately when handling documentation.
· A proactive and flexible approach to supporting multiple business functions.
· Previous experience in an administrative or office support role ( Preferred but not essential )

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
