We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Ashford, Surrey, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Primary PPA/Cover Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing PPA cover across the school, as well as covering lessons and classes when required. You will need to be confident adapting your teaching style to suit different ages, abilities and learning needs.
The school is looking for a teacher with a proven track record of teaching across all Primary key stages, from EYFS through to Year 6. You should be confident delivering engaging, well-structured lessons and be able to maintain high expectations of behaviour, learning and pupil progress.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have proven teaching experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Be confident teaching different year groups and adapting lessons accordingly.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Be flexible and confident working across different classes throughout the school.
- Have a positive, professional and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
