G S Brown Construction Limited, a family run housebuilding business established in 1970, are looking for an experienced workshop finishings joiner to join their team.
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of high-quality finishing joinery work for new-build homes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Company offering permanent employment and a competitive benefits package.
The role will involve:
- Carrying out high-quality finishing joinery within a workshop environment
- Manufacturing and preparing internal finishings and timber components for new-build homes
- Working accurately from drawings, cutting lists and specifications
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
- Ensuring completed work meets the company’s quality standards
- Working closely with workshop colleagues
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a time-served or suitably experienced joiner
- Have experience in finishing joinery, preferably within housebuilding or timber frame construction
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of their work
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Be reliable, organised and able to work to agreed production deadlines
- Hold a full UK driving licence
