TRANS HAUL (EU) Ltd - Recruiting Class 1 Drivers (Days with and without nights out)
Trans Haul are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers to compliment their current driving workforce
You must be able to fully demonstrate a high level of driving competence and have a flexible approach to your work, and be prepared to do nights out in-line with operational requirements.
Due to insurance restraints, you must have a minimum 2years’ UK class 1 experience and aged over 25.

Main Responsibilities;
General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
Wearing correct company uniform & PPE (clean & in good repair).
Maintaining a professional standard when representing Trans Haul whilst delivering, driving or collecting products.
Carry out pre-use checks prior to using any equipment / vehicle / trailer, complying with appropriate documentation &procedures.
Reporting of any vehicle defects / damage or H&S issues to Trans Haul management.
Ensuring that vehicle loads are safe and damage free, secured with the appropriate restraints as per company procedures / Safe Systems of Work.
Check/ complete /retain and hand over all load documentation/POD’s and delivery paperwork.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
Comply with all EU drivers’ hours/tachograph / WTD regulations.
Adhere to all H&S rules. Comply with other sites rules and maintain high standards of compliance, hygiene and housekeeping.
Operate in accordance with Trans Haul policies and procedures.
Comply with any other reasonable requests from Management.
Knowledge, skills and experience required;
Category (C E) driving licence and no more than 6 points (due to insurance restraints)
Minimum of 2 years’ UK experience.
An understanding of the law relating to drivers hours regulations and Tachograph law is essential; as is the ability to work with minimum supervision, DCPC hours essential.
Good communication & organisational skills
Must have experience of loading / unloading and delivering goods to customer premises.
A reasonable geographical knowledge of the UK.
A current Driver Qualification Card and preferably have accrued sufficient hours towards the next qualification period.
Must have a current /working digi-tacho card.
