Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our beautiful dental practice in Dorking Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth practice management, maintaining high standards of patient care, and leading a team of dental professionals. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental staff, including receptionists, dental nurses, and hygienists
- Manage appointment scheduling to optimise patient flow and minimise wait times
- Oversee financial operations, including billing, invoicing, and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of infection control
- Handle human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and staff development
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection laws
- Liaise with suppliers and manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Implement practice policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Support marketing initiatives to attract new patients and retain existing ones
- Completion of Risk assessments and auditing and general upkeep of practice administrative documents to support Compliance for CQC.
- Knowledge of Dentally Software is essential
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental environment
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
- Sound financial management skills, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting
- Human resources expertise, including recruitment, staff development, and conflict resolution
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with staff, patients, and suppliers
- Knowledge or experience in Dental practice management is considered advantageous but not essential

Pay: £13.50-£17.00 per hour
