We are seeking an experienced IT Product Manager to lead the planning, management and continuous development of our software and AI solutions.
Purpose of the Role
The Product Manager will be responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the lifecycle of Sharp Brains' software products and digital platforms, ensuring they meet customer requirements, business objectives and technology standards.
The role will provide ownership of multiple SaaS and enterprise software products including AI-powered applications, CRM, cloud platforms and business automation solutions.
Working closely with software engineering, technical support, cloud operations, sales, customer success and executive leadership, the Product Manager will define product strategy, manage product roadmaps, coordinate delivery activities and ensure successful deployment and continuous improvement of software products.
The Product Manager will also manage product performance, identify new technology opportunities and contribute to the organisation's wider IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of software products from concept through design, development, deployment, enhancement and retirement.
- Define and maintain strategic product roadmaps aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
- Plan, organise and coordinate the delivery of enterprise software products including SaaS platforms, AI solutions, CRM systems and digital transformation services.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of Sharp AI and other intelligent business applications.
- Analyse market trends, emerging technologies and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities.
- Evaluate product performance, commercial viability, operational effectiveness, strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with customers, senior management, technical teams and external stakeholders to define product requirements and development priorities.
- Coordinate software engineering, UI/UX, QA, cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Supervise product delivery activities and ensure technical resources are effectively planned and utilised.
- Establish product development schedules, milestones and delivery plans while ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timescales.
- Monitor product quality, service performance, customer satisfaction and operational KPIs.
- Manage product releases, feature prioritisation and software enhancement programmes.
- Support the implementation of AI technologies, automation, cloud computing, CRM, ERP and managed IT solutions.
- Assess technical and commercial risks associated with software products and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure software products comply with security, governance, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with customer support and managed services teams to improve service delivery and user experience.
- Coordinate product documentation including functional specifications, release documentation, user guides and training materials.
- Support internal technical training and knowledge sharing relating to software products.
- Prepare management reports on product performance, delivery progress, commercial outcomes and future product strategy.
- Contribute to long-term technology planning and innovation initiatives across the organisation.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems. Experience as a product manager in previous roles.
Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
