Palmer Joinery is a small high - end furniture manufacture, working from a modern and fully equipped 2500sq ft factory. Over 20 years we have been producing the highest quality bespoke handcrafted furniture. We work closely with architects, designers, refurbishment specialists and home owners to realise their unique projects in both residential and commercial properties.
The Role
We are looking for skilled Joiner/fitter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to be out fitting our own work in client houses and occasionally helping out in the workshop.
The role requires you to take up projects from start to finish, to have attention to details and good understanding of materials and technical drawings.
Skills required
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment used in woodworking.
- Ability to interpret and follow design drawings according to their specifications.
- Experience working with different materials, solid timber, veneers, laminates and solid surfaces.
- Precision and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
- You must have the ability to manufacture and assemble a variety of jobs as everything we make is custom designed.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all finished products meet high-end standards.
- Be a self-starter and team player to achieve project's deadlines.
- Be a good communicator when liaising with clients and designers.
