We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our friendly and growing accountancy firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible part-time role within a supportive team environment. We are looking for ideally 28 hours per week, we are flexible to the working pattern needed, but preferably working a Friday. Salary is FTE based on a 35 hour working week.

The Role
This role will focus exclusively on payroll services for a varied client base. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and RTI submissions
- Managing auto-enrolment pension processes
- Handling payroll queries from clients and employees
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
- Managing a client portfolio

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience processing payroll (practice experience preferred)
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Is confident liaising with clients
- Is organised and able to meet deadlines
- Is familiar with sage payroll software
- Is able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Pay: £28,500.00 per year
