Assistant Manager – Swansea
We’re looking for a confident and reliable Assistant Manager to join our Swansea team.
You’ll be working closely with the Store Manager to help keep the shop running smoothly, support the team and make sure customers receive the best possible service.
This is a hands-on role, so you’ll need to be comfortable leading from the front, dealing with day-to-day issues and getting involved in all areas of the shop.
The role will include:
- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
- Leading and motivating the team
- Helping to drive sales and achieve store targets
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Supporting with rotas, staff training and performance
- Making sure company procedures and standards are followed
- Keeping the shop floor clean, well stocked and well presented
- Stepping up and taking responsibility when the Store Manager is away
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, organised and confident
- Fully flexible, including weekends
- Comfortable leading a team and having difficult conversations when needed
- Proactive and able to use their own initiative
- Friendly, approachable and customer focused
- Able to stay calm and take control when the store is busy
- Experienced in retail or a supervisory role
Previous management experience would be an advantage, but we’re also happy to hear from strong supervisors who are ready to take the next step.
