Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences. The employee will get a paid hourly rate plus a percentage of the business they book in paid back to them which will be agreed with the general manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organise a diverse range of events, including corporate functions, social gatherings, and fundraising activities.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customised event solutions.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering arrangements, entertainment, and equipment setup.
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities while maintaining excellent guest relations.
- Oversee event timelines to ensure all activities run smoothly and on schedule.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and resources.
- Handle guest enquiries professionally via phone or email, providing exceptional guest services throughout the planning process.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control without compromising quality.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, hotel management, restaurant operations, or event planning is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling products or services to enhance revenue streams.
- Effective time management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in fundraising or guest services will be considered advantageous.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
