Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal spaces to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
This role is ideal for individuals 18 years or over due to the nature of the role, including lone working & the use of commercial cleaning products. Part-time work with flexible morning hours as long as the tasks are completed by 9.30am during the week & weekends by 9am. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services will be considered an asset but not essential.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
