Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Biomedical Science
The Three Counties Medical School is seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Biomedical Science to support the delivery of teaching on our graduate-entry four-year MBChB programme.
This role will contribute to the development, organisation and delivery of Biomedical Science teaching for medical students, with particular emphasis on cell biology, microbiology and/or biochemistry. Working closely with MBChB Phase Leads and colleagues across the School, the postholder will help ensure that Biomedical Science teaching is effectively integrated within the wider curriculum and aligned with the GMC Outcomes for Graduates.
The successful candidate will support the design and production of learning resources, contribute to practical teaching and assessment activity, and help provide a high-quality student experience. There may also be opportunities to support students as a Personal Academic Tutor, in line with School and University expectations.
We are looking for an individual with relevant expertise in Biomedical Science and a strong commitment to medical education. You will be collaborative, student-focused and able to contribute positively to an innovative and developing medical curriculum.

Please note that if not already an employee of the University of Worcester, the appointed candidate will be employed through our subsidiary company Uniworc Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Worcester. Appointees of Uniworc Limited will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva FlexHE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria).
Please note that this post does not meet the minimum salary requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post who will require sponsorship to work in the UK.

We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to student numbers. The number of hours available might only be a few hours per week.
