We are seeking a dedicated Night Healthcare Assistant to join our team, providing compassionate and professional support within a care home specialising in Dementia care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care, ensuring residents' well-being, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Foster effective communication with residents, their families, and the wider healthcare team
- Administer Medication
- Ensure the care environment adheres to health and safety standards at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or senior care environment is desirable
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with care plans and documentation processes is beneficial
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with residents, families, and colleagues
- Basic Literacy is important for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- NVQ 2 or equivalent is desirable.
