Job role, key duties and responsibilities
- Supporting the team: Developing, motivating, and supervising the baking team
- Ensuring quality: Maintaining high standards for baked goods and customer service
- Maintaining safety: Ensuring the bakery is clean and safe by following health regulations and food safety best practices
- Managing stock: Ordering ingredients and maintaining stock levels
- Managing time: Prioritizing tasks and meeting production deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Creativity and adaptability to changing demands
Passion for baking and delivering high-quality baked goods
Any other reasonable task to facilitate the smooth running of the bakery
Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
We're a traditional, family-run bakery in Stafford, baking everything fresh on site each day – from bread and rolls to cakes and pastries.
This is a hands-on role in a working bakery environment. You'll be involved in the full process - mixing, baking, finishing, and helping to keep production running smoothly.
