Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Farm Worker to join our family run dairy farm in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. We run a Holstein herd with all-year round calving on a grass based system. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with livestock and being part of a small, supportive team.
Role Description
The role will involve a range of dairy farm farm duties, including morning and evening milkings in a 16x32 swingover parlour. Additional responsibilities may include tractor driving, yard scraping, calf rearing, and general support of day-to-day farm operations to ensure high standards of animal welfare and farm efficiency.
Working hours are flexible, with shifts typically ranging from 3 hours or more, and will include weekday and weekend availability. This role may suit someone looking for part-time or flexible farm work.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on a dairy farm is strongly advantageous
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full driving licence is essential
- Right to Work in the UK (this role is not eligiblefor UK Visa Sponsorship)
