Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, particularly in catering, food service, and customer relations. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Working experience and Chinese will be crucial.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, providing menu recommendations when needed
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure tables are cleared promptly and reset for new guests
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Follow all catering and food safety protocols diligently throughout service
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
