The Opportunity
We’re looking for a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly team at Darling’s Pharmacy Dean Road on a fixed term 3 month contract.
Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced dispenser ready for a fresh challenge, this is your chance to play a key role in a modern, patient-focused community pharmacy.
We’ve introduced new technologies, streamlined workflows, and expanded clinical services — and we need talented, enthusiastic people to help us shape the future of community pharmacy in South Tyneside.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dispensing prescriptions safely and accurately
- Serving and advising patients at the pharmacy counter
- Managing repeat prescription requests and queries
- Supporting new services such as Pharmacy First, BP checks, vaccinations, smoking cessation, weight management
- Helping maintain stock and ordering processes
- Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit family team
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ2 (or equivalent) Pharmacy Dispenser or NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician also welcome
- Part time role 35 hours per week
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset
- A friendly, dependable attitude with great communication skills
- A passion for teamwork and excellent patient care
