Role Overview:
As Marketing Assistant at Broadway Events you support the planning and delivery of marketing activities across our B2B events portfolio, including exprom, confprom and visprom.
This role is perfect for an ambitious marketer to gain broad experience across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, content creation, website management, partnerships, and event marketing. You will play a key role in executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive audience acquisition, increase event registrations, and enhance engagement across our brands and industry communities.
Working closely with the rest of the marketing team and collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality marketing activity, and ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively. The role requires a hands-on individual who is creative, digitally savvy, highly organised, and eager to develop their marketing career within the fast-paced events industry.
Key responsibilities:
Copywriting:
· Write exprom, confprom, and visprom copy for a variety of marketing materials including emails, adverts, digital marketing, SMS campaigns, websites and social media posts.
Marketing Execution:
· Coordinate and support multi-channel marketing campaigns in line with business and event objectives.
· Create and send HTML emails on a variety of marketing platforms including Pipedrive, Brevo, and others.
· Create engaging and original graphics for a variety of marketing materials including websites, social media posts, and digital marketing assets.
· Work closely on creative design processes for marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
· Produce and manage content across social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok — incorporating graphics, videos, animations and text posts.
· Build and engage with online communities to drive brand awareness and event registrations.
· Reply to social media enquiries, responses and comments.
· Engage with relevant social media posts to increase brand awareness and boost event attendance.
· Share blog posts, articles, and sponsored content on social media sites.
· Send SMS messages to potential and registered attendees.
· Create HTML emails, banner adverts, print adverts, press releases, event listings, social media posts, and other marketing assets for event partners.
· Work with trade associations and media to execute marketing partnerships ensuring fulfilment of promotional opportunities.
· Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance and SEO optimisation.
· Regularly review website performance and coordinate updates in collaboration with web agencies and internal teams.
· Attend events to assist with onsite marketing and operations.
· Support the Senior Marketing Executive to fulfil the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.
· Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to support the preparation and delivery of trade shows and events.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including exhibitors, partners, media, and industry associations.
· Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a seamless marketing experience.
Reporting & Analysis:
· Assist the Senior Marketing Executive to perform weekly performance reviews of all marketing channels during live campaigns.
Continued professional development:

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Marketing & Digital Skills:
· No previous marketing skills are required but some experience of marketing preferred.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
