We a seeking a compassionate, empathetic individual to join our Bristol City Football Club matchday team as a Sensory Room Supporter Liaison Officer. This vital role will play a crucial part in ensuring that supporters with additional sensory needs can enjoy a positive and inclusive matchday experience at Ashton Gate.
Role Responsibilities:
-To be the main point of contact for supporters using the Sensory Room on matchdays.
-To meet and greet supporters using the Bristol City FC Sensory Room on matchdays, showing them where the Sensory Room is and where to enter and exit the stadium.
-To assist those using the Sensory Room with directions, such as to toilets or to the outdoor seating area.
-To ensure the Sensory Room is set up ready for use each game and all equipment is checked and working.
-To report any issues or concerns immediately to the Fan Engagement Lead
-Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.
Club Wide Responsibilities:
-To adhere to all Bristol City FC’s Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
-To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club’s Safeguarding agenda.
-To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.
-To adhere to the Club’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and all-encompassing.
-To carry out/take part in training requests as directed by the Club.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
-Experience of working with Children and/or adults with additional support requirements (including but not limited to: Autism, ADHD, Hypersensitivity to light/sound).
-To be a friendly and approachable member of the Fan Experience team who is able to build a great rapport with supporters using the Bristol City FC’s Sensory Room.
