Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Independent Educational Consultant & Assessor specialising in Montessori-aligned programmes. This role involves providing expert guidance and assessment services to educational institutions, parents, and students to support the implementation and evaluation of Montessori-based learning environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in teaching and a passion for promoting high-quality, child-centred education. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of Montessori programmes to ensure alignment with recognised standards and best practices.
- Provide personalised consultancy services to schools, educators, and parents on implementing Montessori principles effectively.
- Develop customised training materials and workshops aimed at enhancing teaching quality within Montessori settings.
- Offer ongoing support and professional development opportunities for educators seeking to deepen their understanding of Montessori methodologies.
- Evaluate curriculum content, classroom organisation, and teaching strategies to promote authentic Montessori experiences.
- Prepare detailed reports summarising assessment findings and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and developments within the Montessori education sector to maintain expert knowledge.
- Collaborate with educational authorities and organisations to promote the integrity of Montessori education standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching within a Montessori environment or similar child-centred educational setting.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and assessment methods.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments and consultancy projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders including educators, parents, and administrators.
- Relevant qualifications in education or specialised training in Montessori pedagogy are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Pay: £120.00-£180.00 per day
