Salary package: £45,000–£50,000, including service charge and performance-related bonus.

Fiesta del Asado is looking for an exceptional, people-focused General Manager to lead our Birmingham restaurant.
Part of the award-winning Lasan Group, Fiesta del Asado is a vibrant Argentine-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar known for quality food, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
This is not an office-based management role. We are looking for a visible, energetic leader who thrives on the restaurant floor—welcoming guests, developing the team and leading every service from the front.
The role:
As General Manager, you will take ownership of the restaurant’s people, performance and guest experience. You will create a positive, accountable culture in which the team feels supported, standards remain consistently high and every guest receives genuine hospitality.
You will:
- Be present and visible throughout service, setting the standard for the team.
- Build genuine relationships with guests and create memorable experiences.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop a confident, knowledgeable team.
- Lead effective briefings and deploy the team accurately for every service.
- Create a positive working culture built around accountability, teamwork and pride.
- Maintain exceptional standards across food, drink, service and presentation.
- Take ownership of sales, labour, stock, costs and overall restaurant performance.
- Use guest feedback and commercial results to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the kitchen and senior leadership team.
- Bring energy, ideas and initiative to the continued development of Fiesta del Asado.
About you:
You will be an experienced hospitality leader who genuinely enjoys working with guests and developing people.
Our ideal General Manager will:
- Have proven experience as a General Manager or in a comparable senior hospitality role.
- Be passionate about food, drink and outstanding hospitality.
- Be a natural host who is happiest leading from the restaurant floor.
- Inspire, engage and hold people accountable while maintaining a supportive culture.
- Remain calm, professional and focused during demanding services.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong commercial awareness and experience managing sales, labour, stock, budgets and cost controls.
- Understand food safety, licensing and health and safety responsibilities.
- Take a hands-on, proactive approach and continually look for ways to improve.
