What you'll be doing
You'll run the entire branch operation, working with your team to exceed customer expectations. This includes managing all operational requirements and supporting other branches when needed.
Your key responsibilities include:

Overseeing all branch operations, deliveries and stock management.

Manage branch standby and call out rota

Leading, motivating and developing your team to reach their full potential

Managing recruitment, performance and team development

Ensuring health and safety compliance across people, equipment and vehicles

Following up quotes and maintaining customer relationships

Providing regular reports and management information

Introducing new working practices to enhance profitability

Supporting and developing branch sales by coordinating sales strategies with sales team

Processing customer orders to meet customer requirements and deadlines
-
Overseeing branch picking, deliveries and stock management
What we're looking for
You'll have previous experience as a branch manager or supervisor, ideally in air conditioning, refrigeration or distribution. You'll bring strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
You'll also need:

Good standard of education including maths and English

Ability to use IT systems including Microsoft Office

Professional, customer-first approach

Willingness to undertake training including online courses and potentially apprenticeships
Advantageous but not essential: First Aid, Fire Marshall or Mental Health First Aid training, forklift licence.
