Recruitment Consultant
Location: East Bergholt, Suffolk (Office Based)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Commission: Uncapped commission on client recruitment placements
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (20-minute paid break)
Join Our Growing Team
Heycroft Care Group is expanding, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our busy office.
This is a varied recruitment role where you'll recruit for both our own businesses and external clients. You'll be responsible for sourcing high-quality candidates for Heycroft Staffing Solutions, Sevello Children's Homes and our growing client base across the children's residential care sector.

The Role
You'll be responsible for recruiting a wide range of positions, including:
- Residential Support Workers
- Senior Support Workers
- Team Leaders
- Deputy Managers
- Registered Managers
- Other children's residential care professionals
Your duties will include:
- Managing the full recruitment process from advert to offer.
- Writing engaging job adverts across multiple platforms.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, social media and networking.
- Screening CVs and conducting telephone interviews.
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and clients.
- Maintaining regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Building talent pools for future vacancies.
- Developing relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Recruiting for external clients, earning commission on successful permanent placements.
- Ensuring recruitment processes remain compliant with safer recruitment standards.
- Supporting employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous recruitment experience (agency or in-house essential).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using recruitment systems, job boards and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
- A genuine interest in children's residential care recruitment.
Experience recruiting within health and social care or children's services would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
