Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Teacher/Lead to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of early childhood educators, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of preschool staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective daily operations
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that promote children’s development across all areas
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that encourages children’s curiosity and learning
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and well-being
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, policies, and procedures
- Organise staff rotas, oversee daily routines, and monitor the overall quality of care provided
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through personalised care plans
- Contribute to the ongoing professional development of team members through coaching and training sessions
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Demonstrable management or leadership experience within a childcare environment
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience working with diverse groups of children and families
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting resources or attending external meetings or events

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
