Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including counters, tables, and display cases
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times to uphold health standards
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions efficiently, and provide correct change
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively and managing time efficiently
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in serving food and beverages is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in food preparation or working in a fast-paced customer service setting is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers positively and professionally
