Paradise House is a Dementia residential purpose-built care home catering for up to 39 residents, our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable & happy as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play an important role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by planning and delivering enjoyable activities that support both physical and mental wellbeing.
This includes:
- Creating and organising social and recreational activities
- Planning events both inside and outside of the home
- Encouraging residents to participate and engage
- Consulting with residents to understand their hobbies, interests, and preferences
- Supporting activities that promote independence and confidence
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Working as part of the wider care team to create a positive environment
- Supporting residents living with dementia and varying individual needs

Skills & Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role or care setting
- Experience supporting groups of people with varying needs and interests
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging activities
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
