Total Property Improvements is seeking an experienced and reliable all-round builder to join our growing team in Peterborough and the surrounding areas.
We specialise in residential extensions, structural alterations, renovations, and property improvements, and are looking for someone with proven experience working on extension projects from groundwork through to completion.
Duties
- Work on residential extensions, renovations, and refurbishment projects.
- Carry out plasterboarding, basic plumbing , stud walls , door lining , architraves
- Assist with structural alterations, including knock-throughs and steel (RSJ) installations.
- Complete kitchen and bathroom installations to a high standard.
- Carry out tiling, flooring, and finishing works.
- Read and work from drawings and plans.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on house extensions and residential building projects.
- Skilled in at least three of the following:
- Brickwork / Blockwork
- Carpentry
- Kitchen Fitting
- Bathroom Fitting
- Tiling
- Plasterboarding
- Roofing
- Structural Alterations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Must live in or near Peterborough.
Desirable
- Experience with foundations and groundwork.
- Experience working with RSJs and structural openings.
- Ability to supervise labourers
