Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling in warehouse environments
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively during all customer interactions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a strong focus on safety and reliability
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of traffic laws
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently and accurately
